Dodgers sign Chad Gaudin to minor league deal

The Los Angeles Dodgers signed Chad Gaudin to a minor league deal today, with an invite to  Major League Spring Training. Gaudin has been both a starter and reliever in his career.  He has compiled a 45-44 record with multiple MLB teams. He has pitched for the Rays, Toronto Blue Jays,  Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, Oakland A’s, Washington Nationals, San Fracisco Giants, Miami Marlins and now the Dodgers. Gaudin was part of the Yankees team that won the 2009 World Series.

Gaudin will compete for a spot in an already crowded bullpen or he could be used as a swingman.
