Dodgers Sign Infielder Justin Turner

Today, the Dodgers signed infielder Justin Turner to a minor league contract with an invite to Major League camp. Turner, 29, batted .280 with two home runs and 16 RBI in 86 games with the Mets last season, appearing in games at all four infield positions as well as one contest in left field. The Long Beach native has a .260 batting average with eight homers and 89 RBI in 318 career games in five big league seasons with the Orioles (2009-10) and Mets (2010-13).
