Clayton KershawClayton Kershaw made his first rehab start Friday night for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Kershaw was making his first appearance in 6 weeks and was scheduled to throw 55 pitches. Kershaw went 5 innings, allowing a run, two hits, a walk and six strikeouts on 56 pitches. After the game Kershaw said he “felt good, felt healthy.” He said it felt like a spring training start and was more concerned with the results. When Kershaw was asked What was next, he said “I don’t know.” When asked if he was ready to come back to the Dodgers Kershaw replied “I’m not going to answer that.” All signs point to Kershaw wanting his next start to be with the Dodgers but he will wait and see what the teams plans are.
