Corey Seager, the Dodgers Branch Rickey minor league player of the year, added another accolade to his impressive resume when he was named an Arizona Fall League All-Star.

Seager was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 18th round of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft. Seager is the younger brother of Seattle Mariner’s 3B Kyle Seager.

Seager started his 2014 campaign in Rancho Cucamonga with the Quakes where he hit .352 with 18 HR and 70 RBIs. He was promoted to Double A ball with the Chattanooga Lookouts, where he hit .345 with 2 HR and 27RBIs in a limited sample scale of 28 games.

Seager has already progressed further than where his brother was at this point in his career. Corey Seager is expected to be a couple of years away from the major leagues.
