Dodgers Acquire Joel Peralta and Adam Liberatore

The Los Angeles Dodgers have traded two pitchers from the organization, Jose Dominguez and Greg Harris to the Tampa Bay Rays for relief pitcher Joel Peralta and relief pitcher Adam Liberatore.

Peralta has posted effective numbers, with a hickup in last year’s season where he posted a 4.41 ERA for the Rays. Peralta will probably be replacing the role that Jamey Wright held last year. Peralta is also known as a fly ball pitcher.

Adam Liberatore posted a 1.66 ERA last year in AAA for the Rays, where he posted a 6-1 record.

This is the second trade Friedman has completed.
