Dodgers and Chris Heisey agree to terms, 1 year contract for $2.16 million

The Dodgers reached an agreement on a one year contract, worth $2.16 million with newly acquired outfielder Chris Heisey. Heisey was acquired from the Cincinnati Reds for pitcher Matt Magill.  The contract was agreed upon on January 15th, 2015. By settling on this new contract, this avoids salary arbitration. Heisey is expected to be the Dodgers 4th outfielder and right handed pinch hitting option for the 2015 season.
