The Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim completed their December 9th trade that sent backup catcher Drew Butera down the 5 freeway to the Angels.
The Dodgers received Matt Long from the Angels. The Dodgers then completed another trade with the Milwaukee Brewers, who flipped Long, along with the recently designated for assignment left-handed pitcher Jarret Martin, to the Brewers for minor league catcher Shawn Zarraga.
Zarraga was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 44th round in the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft .
