Dodgers Present Frank Sinatra Tribute Tomorrow Night

LOS ANGELES – The Dodgers will pay tribute to American icon and longtime Dodger fan Frank Sinatra on Friday, September 18 (7:10 p.m. vs. PIT) in partnership with Frank Sinatra Enterprises and the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. LIVE. Throughout 2015, the 100thanniversary of Frank Sinatra’s birth has been celebrated across the world through centennial events and the Dodgers, Sinatra’s favorite team, will present a salute to “Ol’ Blue Eyes” with a special event ticket package that includes a ticket to the game on September 18 and a limited-edition commemorative Dodgers and Sinatra T-shirt.

In my book, Frank Sinatra is the greatest singer God ever put on earth.”

The Dodgers invite fans to join in an “Ol’ Blue Eyes” birthday celebration at Dodger Stadium on September 18. Ticket packages can be purchased by visiting www.dodgers.com/Sinatra. Fans are invited to arrive early to hear Frank Sinatra Jr. perform the national anthem. Additional members of the Sinatra family will be in attendance along with Lasorda, a longtime friend of Sinatra. After the game, fans can enjoy Friday Night Fireworks which will be set to Sinatra’s iconic music.

On October 21, 2015 the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. LIVE will present Sinatra: An American Icon, a multi-media exhibit celebrating Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday through the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards on February 15, 2016. Sinatra: An American Icon is presented in cooperation with the Sinatra Family, Frank Sinatra Enterprises, and the Frank Sinatra Collection, USC School of Cinematic Arts, and features many artifacts from the Sinatra Family’s personal collection. The exhibition includes rare concert and interview footage, personal correspondence, private photos, awards, and other memorabilia, as well as music.
