Dodgers send pitcher Craig Stem to complete trade with Marlins for Kyle Jensen

The Dodgers completed their trade with the Miami Marlins on Monday, December 15, 2014. It wasn’t the big trade with the Marlins. This trade was to complete the deal on November 17, 2014 where the Dodgers acquired outfielder Kyle Jensen. The Dodgers sent pitcher Craig Stem to the Marlins.

Craig Stem was drafted by the Dodgers in 2011 in the 15th round. Throughout his minor league career, Stem has pitched to a 6-9 record with a minor league career ERA of 4.28. Last year he struggled in AA by posting an 0-3 record with a 8.06 ERA.

Jensen has a huge chance to be designated for assignment as there are roster spaces that will be filled up due to all the impending trades from the 2014 Winter Meetings.
