Josh Byrnes Frontrunner For Dodgers GM Job

Sources have linked Josh Byrnes as the leading candidate for the Dodgers General Manager job. Byrnes is no stranger to the National League West. He was GM of the San Diego Padres for two and a half years before being let go by the Padres on June 22 of this year, and previously served as GM of the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2005-2010. Byrnes is part of the new wave of young general managers and would fit well in savvy, new President of Baseball Operations, Andrew Friedman’s system.
