Logan White Leaves LA

Another change has occurred in the Dodgers front office. Logan White, Dodgers Vice President of Amateur Scouting, has accepted a job with the San Diego Padres, after his long tenure in Los Angeles. White was also Director of Amateur Scouting.

Logan White was responsible for finding and signing many Dodgers players such as Clayton Kershaw, Matt Kemp, AJ Ellis, Dee Gordon, and many other players/prospects. He was also an important figure in signing Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig and Hyun-jin Ryu. Many of White’s draftees have made it to the big leagues and are currently playing through the Dodgers organizations as well as other MLB teams.

Former Dodgers players Russell Martin and James Loney were also Logan’s signings.Other White signings include Jonathan Broxton, Eric Stults, Tony Abreu.

Andrew Friedman will be looking to replace key positions in the Dodgers front office. Ned Colletti is no longer the GM for the Dodgers. DeJon Watson another key figure in the Dodgers scouting department, departed to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
