Miguel Rojas Sidelined for 1 week due to dislocated finger

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas, playing in the Venezuelan Winter League, suffered a dislocated left little finger. After being checked out, there were no breaks or fractures and he is expected to miss only one week.

Miguel Rojas was used as a defensive replacement for Hanley Ramirez last year. He also did well defensively last season, as he saved Kershaw’s no hitter with his dazzling defense. Rojas is expected to compete with other Dodgers shortstops as the shortstop job is up for grabs in the 2015 season.
